GPLighting was first established in 1996 in China as Clipsal Lighting exclusively for then Clipsal of Australia., Thereafter due to product development and marketing brand changes, the company went through name changes as Pierlite Lighting, GP Lighting Technology during the past years. Gold Pearl Lighting Technology Limited is a total lighting solution provider engaged in the research and development, manufacture and distribution of light fittings and light source products. Gold Pearl Lighting owns a portfolio of industrial investments for the development and manufacture of both mechanical and electronic lighting products for consumer, commercial, industrial and professional markets.

Gold Pearl Lighting has set up a R&D Center and factory in Huizhou, Guangdong, with a total floor area of 12, 000 sq. M. And a production capacity of 8, 000 sets of luminaries/day. The factory is equipped with advanced production facilities and automated assembly lines including automatic stamping production line, stamping machines, CNC stamping machines, CNC bending machines, CNC shearing machines, drilling machines, die-casting machines, grinding machines and lathe machines. Gold Pearl Lighting also has supported by a strong R&D team and a professional testing laboratory with GSM2000 Rotate Mirror Lighting Photometer and international standard testing instruments.
